Linux Administrator/ Job location: Chennai

 Our client software company is looking for :-

Position: LINUX ADMINISTRATOR

Experience – Min 3 to Max 5 Years

Certificate: Redhat or AWS added advantage

 Ø  In depth knowledge of Linux server like Ubuntu&Cent OS

Ø  Linux OS installation, configuration and troubleshooting & Basic in Windows

Ø  Certifications in Linux are added advantage (Redhat Certifier or other Linux Certification)

Ø  Working knowledge in Web server environment

Ø  Working knowledge in Java & PHP environment

Ø  Installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, nginx, etc

Ø  Ability to build and monitor services on production servers

Ø  Installing Email configuration and email accounts (Like Office 365)

Ø  Installing and configure the domain-based SSL certificate for webserver

Ø  Installing and configure the GIT/Bugzilla/Jenkins/ applications.

Ø  Ability to send daily server log report and other reports.

Ø  Working experience automation tools.

Ø  Working knowledge in Web server security.

Ø  Working knowledge in Firewall and Switches.

AWS

Ø  Knowledge of key AWS services like EC2, S3 etc.

Ø  Selecting the appropriate AWS service based on compute, data, or security requirements

Ø  Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS

Ø  Identifying appropriate use of AWS operational services like cloud watch and cloud trail and Cloud Formation etc.

Ø  Implementing security using IAM roles and analyze access logs to prevent misuse

Ø  Cloud watch dashboard management.
