Supply Chain Manager.:
The Supply Chain Manager for FMCG is responsible for overseeing activities related to a company’s products and services, including placing orders, storing, organizing services, loading and delivering products to clients. Their primary duties include improving productivity and efficiency, reducing costs and securing quality materials for the company.
Should have experience in the following: -
Inventory Management: Supplier Management: Logistics and
Transportation: Procurement: Demand Planning: Data Analysis: Collaboration: Problem-Solving
& Risk Management: Performance Measurement:
A bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Procurement or a
related field.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Planning,
Supply Chain in FMCG industry,
with at least 5 years in a mid-management role.
Drives process compliance, linked to sound understanding of
all aspects of the order
fulfilment process from suppliers to consumers, managing
procurement, logistics,
inventory, production and distribution to optimize
efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Prior experience working in Central / Southern African region is a significant advantage.
