Mechanical Engineer(Design)_LV Switchgear Panel @ Riyadh

 

Position: Mechanical Engineer ( Design)

Minimum Qualifications: BE/B-Tech or M-Tech in Mechanical

Minimum Experience:   6 - 8 Years (Age limit 30 - 35yrs)

Job Location: Riyadh.

New Product Development of LV switchgear products (MCB, RCCB, RCBO, Isolator, AFDD and their accessories).

·         Mechanical design of different parts / assemblies of modular LV switchgear products (MCCB, MCB,  RCCB, RCBO, Isolator, AFDD and their accessories) using CREO.

·         Product design optimized using theoretical calculation, tolerance stack up using Cetol software and verification / validation using practical approach.

·         Design review, Reliability predictions, and Design Failure Modes and Effects analysis (DFMEA) and structural/thermal/CFD results.

·         Participate in multi-discipline concurrent development and corrective action.

·         Raw-material selection, verification of its suitability in application.

·         Evaluate specification for compliance to relevant standard and finalization in co-ordination with concerned departments.

·         Review and approval of design to develop prototypes, approval of test plan, evaluation of test reports and design changes, if required for compliance to relevant standard.

·         Evaluate and finalize specifications of the product for compliance with latest standards. Product performance evaluation.

·         Designing products considering DFX (Manufacturability/Automation/Assembly/Cost, etc)

·         Management of appropriate design records, documents and change management using SAP ECTR.

 

Technical support to cross functions like production, quality, purchase, sales and marketing in resolving their issues.

Generic Skills:

·         Design and development of LV modular products and Mechanism analysis software like Ansys/Recurdyn/ADAMS, etc.

·         Problem solving skills with hands-on experience with switchgear products.

·         Design and development of LV products like MCB, MCCB, RCCB, RCBO, Isolator, AFDD, etc.

·         Mechanical design of mechanisms of LV switchgear products using CREO.

·         Expert in Design software like Creo, AutoCAD, Adobe illustrator,

·         Preferably Six-Sigma Green/Black Belt certified.

·         In-depth knowledge in LV protection modular products.

·         Knowledge of relevant international & national product, Raw material norms/standards.

·         Expert know-how on raw-material selection.

·         Good in SAP and PLM.
